ePSXe
is a freeware emulator for the PlayStation video game console that
manages to emulate most of the original video game system , video games
can run from CD or from an image of it . Required for use of plugins , which are software libraries for handling graphics , input cdrom and sound emulation . His first release was the October 14, 2000 .The
ePSXe emulator requires the use of plugins to emulate GPU, SPU and
input functions of CD- ROM , first established by the emulator PSEmu /
PSEmu Pro ePSXe also requires the use of a BIOS file dumpeado a
Playstation console. To
avoid legal problems , as it is illegal to include or implement (
emulators like Virtual Game Station does not require this bios file) ,
the file must be obtained separately from the emulator. Technically , it is only legal to use that file in ePSXe if it has been extracted from a Playstation own .ePSXe can run from CD or even from CD images contained on the hard drive . By removing some exceptions, is able to perfectly emulate any Playstation game . Of course , it depends on the plugins used and how they are configured .
